One Day World

Community Guidelines

Effective date: 11 October 2026

One Day World gives everyone one message a day to share with the whole world. These guidelines keep it a place people want to come back to.

Be kind

Write something you would be happy for anyone, anywhere, to read. Disagreement is fine. Cruelty is not.

Not allowed

Names

You choose your display name once when you first sign in. It must follow these guidelines too. Names that use the name of God or a holy title (for example Allah), and names that look like the app or its team, are not allowed. You can change your name 7 days after signing up, and then once every 14 days. Verified accounts keep their name.

How enforcement works

Every message is checked automatically before it appears. If a message is held back, you will see why and can edit it. It will not use up your daily message.

When someone reports a message and we confirm it breaks these guidelines:

Severe violations, such as threats of violence or anything sexualising minors, lead to an immediate permanent ban. Reports are reviewed automatically against these guidelines; anything unclear is decided by a person. You see a notice in the app each time, and you can appeal any decision once, within 30 days, from the app. A person reviews every appeal.

See something wrong?

Tap the menu on any message to report it or block the person. You can manage blocked people from the Account page. To appeal a decision, open Account, then Account standing, in the app, or email support@onday.world.
